Fundraise Your Way. Change a Child’s Future
With only 1 in 5 Canadians aware of juvenile arthritis, anything you do—big or small—helps raise awareness, support families, and move us closer to better care and a cure.
Fundraising is a powerful way to support children and families living with rheumatic disease. Whether you’re organizing an event, participating in a campaign, or creating your own initiative, your efforts help fund programs, research, and resources that make a real difference.

Why Fundraise?
Many of our fundraisers are led by youth, families, and community members across Canada.
Every fundraising effort helps expand access to vital programs, provide meaningful support for families, and advance research that leads to better treatments and outcomes for children living with rheumatic disease. Whether big or small, these efforts directly contribute to improving care and strengthening the community across Canada.
It’s also an opportunity to:
- Bring people together around a shared cause
- Raise awareness in your community
- Make a direct and meaningful impact
“Fundraising brought our community together and made a real difference.” — Parent, Cassie + Friends Community

Your Impact In Action
Funds raised support programs, research, and resources that directly benefit children and families living with rheumatic disease. From helping families access trusted information and peer support, to advancing research that improves diagnosis, treatment, and long-term outcomes, every contribution plays a meaningful role.
These efforts go beyond immediate support — they help reduce isolation, strengthen connections, and build a more responsive system of care. Together, they contribute to a stronger, more informed, and more connected community across Canada.
An Impact Story
Caden Castonguay was the recipient of 2023 Youth Leader Award for the 13+ age group
Caden embodies dedication and passion in her advocacy efforts. Her remarkable journey of advocacy and awareness reached new heights when she shared her inspiring story on Global News, shedding light on Juvenile Arthritis and the supports that C+F is working towards helping youth + families in Canada. Her impactful contributions extended further as she took the stage as a speaker for our Injection Support webinar, offering invaluable insights and support to fellow youth.
Caden’s commitment didn’t stop there; she tirelessly wrote letters of support, amplifying the voices of youth across Canada and advocating for change. Additionally, her role as a Youth Mentor has left a profound impact, guiding and empowering others to become advocates in their own right. Caden’s unwavering dedication is something we are so proud of!
Congratulations Caden!
