Our fourth annual event drew more than 100 people with some new and many familiar faces.  Parents had the chance to hear several informative speakers including Dr. Kathleen O’Neil (who came all the way from Oklahoma) and doctors Jane Gardiner and Ross Petty who gave an excellent talk on uveitis.  For the first time parents also had the opportunity to choose from 2 small, interactive breakout sessions.  All 3 age groups of kids were kept busy with activities ranging from carnival games and bingo to arts and crafts and yoga.  They even participated in a massive drum circle orchestrated by LuluJam.  Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate for our beach picnic this year, so we improvised and held an indoor BBQ catered by Vera’s Hamburgers.  Special thanks to AMGEN for once again sponsoring this event.
