Anonymous donor challenges Team Cassie and Friends to rally in support of kids and families.

Team Cassie and Friends has just been given a giant boost to our fundraising. An anonymous donor has committed to match dollar-for-dollar every donation made up to $50,000 until the end of July 2019.

Even if you are not a member of our run/walk team, we hope you will read their challenge below and consider lending your support to our biggest project yet. Here’s why…

If we are able to raise $50,000 and secure the matching gift, we will be able to take a giant step forward on a major project benefitting kids and families across Canada – the launch of a national online peer support network for the Juvenile Arthritis and rheumatic disease community.

Now, all we need is you! Make your gift and claim your 100% match.

The online network will build on so much of the important work Cassie and Friends is already doing to connect and support kids and families as they navigate rheumatic disease – from diagnosis and through every stage of their journey.

With 10+ years of serving the JA and rheumatic disease community in Canada, we know that connection is at the heart of what Cassie and Friends means to kids and families. Our founders created Cassie and Friends for that very reason – to ensure no other parents had to journey with Juvenile Arthritis alone.

We hope you will help us achieve our $50,000 goal and take advantage of this is a great opportunity to double your impact! If you make a $100 donation today and it will be worth $200 to Cassie and Friends, a $250 donation will be worth $500, a $500 donation will be worth $1,000, etc.

Here is our donor’s challenge to you:

Last year, I was very moved by the grandparent who gave the $50,000 match during the run/walk. As someone who’s seen the terrible pain of arthritis in their own family and life, I’ve been inspired to step up and do the same. I think all your families will agree – even with treatments that are 100x’s better today, it’s still not enough. We must do more for these kids. I hope this helps.

Together, we can change what it means to live with all forms of Juvenile Arthritis and transform lives.
