It’s going to take all of us to achieve a pain-free future for kids! Join us for a special Parent Connection Event presentation (March 27 at 4:30pm PST / 7:30pm EST) led by Executive Director, Jennifer Wilson, to learn more about Cassie + Friends’ strategic priorities across our five core pillars: Connection, Action, Research, Education and Support. After the main presentation and Q+A, you are invited to stay online to connect with Family Engagement Coordinator and fellow JA Mom, Marissa Sangers, at our second Parent Check-In event of 2025!
At this event, you’ll get to:
• Hear about the results of a new national survey commissioned by C+F on JA awareness and misconceptions in Canada
• Learn about C+F’s research priorities and why there has never been so much hope for kids
• Meet and share with other parents/caregivers who understand what life with childhood rheumatic disease is really like
• Find out how you can help take action and make a meaningful impact on the issues most important to our community
Let’s close JA Awareness Month with a clear path forward on how we can unite together to transform kids and families’ lives! Come with your questions, ideas and experiences. We can’t wait to see you there.
All parents/caregivers welcome! Learn more and register here.
Jennifer is the Executive Director of Cassie + Friends. When she joined C+F as their first employee in 2013, she had never heard of arthritis in children. Through learning about the condition and immersing herself in the pediatric rheumatic disease community, Jennifer found a noble purpose and has since dedicated herself to pursuing C+F’s vision of a pain-free future for kids.
C+F’s Family Engagement Coordinator and JA mom, Marissa Sangers has been a dedicated advocate since 2019, and will share helpful tools, resources, and ways to stay connected with Cassie + Friends. As a parent to a child with JA, she understands the journey firsthand and is passionate about supporting families through community, education, and advocacy.
